Their Son Died on Christmas Day

Have you heard about the Pack Family? They were hit by a drunk driver on Christmas Eve and said goodbye to their little boy on Christmas Day. Kelly, the mother, has been in out and of the hospital with major health issues since then.

Can you even begin to imagine? The man who hit them had no insurance.

I have had several blog readers email me saying, "Have you heard of the Pack family? Can you help? What can we do??"

I talked with them today.

They are humble and sweet and grateful and kind. They cling to their little boy, Finn, and to their hope and faith and support.

And they are going to be honored and helped on the night of my benefit concert. They will be attending, along with several other angel families, and I think you should come too. You will be so uplifted. Your jaw will drop at the talent. You will be laughing and dancing in your seat. Then, you'll be crying and joyful and thankful and filled with love. And I'll be able to hug you with my big belly in between us.

It will be worth it.

The Pack Family needs you. I need you. We all need each other as a community.

If you wish you could attend, but live out-of-state, you can always make a donation to A Good Grief instead, or purchase tickets and I will give them to angel families on your behalf. Ticket purchase link coming soon!

  1. I cannot imagine... wow! No words to express the sadness I feel for them. So nice that through the blog network there is an extended family they don't even know.

  2. I'm so excited for your benefit concert! We will definitely be attending.

  3. I am so happy you will be helping them....I've followed their blog since the accident. Wonderful things you are doing, Molly! Xo

  4. More power to you, Molly! You are such a blessing to the Pack family and to many, many others. Wish we could be there for the concert! ~ Vicki

  5. Molly, I have a friend who is doing a fundraiser at the end of this month for the Pack Family as well, if you or any of your readers are interested in spreading the word.

  6. Molly I did a FB link and quote and request for donations. Thank you for linking.

  7. Just made a donation. Truly touched by your words and The Pack Family tragedy. I will keep them in my prayers.

  8. Just made a donation to A Good Grief's website. I have no words to describe how I feel after reading this story. It is so heartbreaking. Please use the donation the best way you think it will help.

  9. Molly, thank you so much for the beautiful thing you do to help others who are going through the same painful process, that you, yourself have gone through. You are helping pave the way for our family and so many others.

I wish you nothing but love and light :)
