30 Days of Thanks #13- Outings

Wednesday, November 16, 2011
I was not very sick at all while pregnant with Peter or Lucy. At least not in the typical pregnant way. {I did get food poisoning and the flu both times}. I feel like I'm experiencing a "real pregnancy" this time. This means I go days without showering sometimes and spend a lot of time wishing I were dead.

So when I get up the gusto to have an "outing" it really helps me feel human again.

Halloween day we headed to Gardner Village {Vic took the day off work. Halloween is too painful for him when the kids come to trick-or-treat at his office} to attend Ride with a Witch. Sadly, it wasn't open on Halloween day! But it was no problem...the sun was shining, Peter was thrilled to feed the ducks, and I got to do a lot of window shopping.

I'm so thankful for these little outings I have with my little family. They make all the difference in the world.

Yes, I traipsed around Gardner Village in my pigeon toes and running clothes. It's how I feel most comfortable.
