It's A Jolly Holiday With Jacob ben Widmar

By Molly Bice-Jackson - 3:44 PM

One of my very closest friends from college (I feel like I'm always saying that...but it's true each time) is in town with the Broadway touring company of Mary Poppins. Oh, the joy!

Here he is showing us around backstage after the show. I know he'll love this photo.

Me and my brother from another mother, Justin Kinnaird. Also one of my closest friends. He and Vic adore each other, which makes me so happy. And Justin cares and understands when I cry in the middle of "A Spoonful of Sugar". He knows that my heart wanted my Lucy to be sitting next to me.

Our forever friends, the Manns, were also in town to see the show and attend my parents mission farewell. It was a reunion all around. Ummm...and Vic was home working on our dilapidated deck. True love right there folks.

And here I am in our new car. I now have a way to get around town with Peter and his bike. It feels good.

Life is hard, but life is good. God's ways are higher than my ways. I don't know everything, but I know enough.

I love my family and friends.
