I Ran Out of Readers

By Molly Bice-Jackson - 8:01 AM

Funny.

I so boldly proclaimed that Meet My Readers Monday was back...but I didn't realize I was out of reader submissions.

If you'd like to be featured in my Monday posts, please email me at mollymjackson at gmail dot com and include the following:

-Name
-Location (if you feel comfortable with that. I love learning where people live and how on earth they found me)
-How you came upon my blog/why you read (And please, this is not about how wonderful I am. Of course say what you will, but I'm just looking for how we became connected. I do not want to appear as if I'm fishing for praise. Plus, if you knew me in real life you might not even like me anyway)
-Interesting tid-bits about yourself.
-Thoughts
-Feelings
-What have you

I think anyone who comes to this site enjoys learning more about their fellow human beings. Its fascinating to get  a glimpse into the lives of others. And let's be honest, it saves me having to compose another blog post. It's a win-win.

Come one, come all. Don't be shy. I would LOVE to hear from you.

In other news, Vic returned from his mancation in Moab and I booked a girls trip to NYC. The only sad thing about this is the trauma that befell one of Vic's friends in a repelling accident. (Fell 15 feet and shattered his ankle and heel and vertebrae). He will be blogging about it soon. It was tragic and beautiful. His friend is holed up in the Moab hospital still while he figures out how to be transported back to California for surgery followed by 3-6 months in a wheelchair. Of course I am glad Vic is safe, but more than that, I am worried about Brad, his wife, and 4 kids.

Life can change in an instant.

Now to finish composing my thoughts for the Park City Stake Girls Camp fireside I'm presenting tonight.

Love to you all. Hope you are enjoying your summer. It's the most wonderful time of the year!

3 Loving Lines

  1. Every time I try to say something about Vic's friend, I can't! I sincerely hope he gets well soon, but I also know that sometimes it doesn't work that way, but that there's also a purpose behind it and "refining" that happens! I want to say "poor Brad", but I also know that he's still alive and there for his family, so in a lot of ways, he's not poor at all! Yet, I still somehow want to express how my heart still hurts for him and his family as it is a trial they are going through, and I sincerely feel for them! Sometimes things seem too complicated to explain!!
