Ticket Giveaway

Tuesday, March 15, 2011
Will we generate any interest in this? I'm not sure.

But let's lay it on the table--a handful of people have purchased tickets to the concert but cannot attend. Therefore, they are giving away their tickets to some of you who would like to come. I have 6 tickets to give to my blog readers. It's a donation-donation. If you know of someone you'd like to give these tickets to as a gift, or someone who would love to come but is not in a financial position to purchase them, please leave a comment letting me know! I will add their name to the ticket list at the door. You'll be in charge of letting them know they won free tickets and the details of the event.

Sound like a plan?

All I ask is that you tell me how tall you think I am in your comment. And say a prayer for Japan.

Shelly Geller photography will be capturing the event that night. I know she'll take incredible photos. What makes this especially meaningful, is that Michelle Newman, the owner of Shelly Geller photography, is an Angel mom too. This April marks five years since her son, James, fell out of a window.

  1. Hi Molly,

I am a long-time-reader-never-commenter... I don't need free tickets (already bought mine!) but I wanted to say how excited I am for this concert. It is SUCH a good cause, and I am touched by the way you have turned something tragic into something so good. Your little Lucy has touched so many people's lives, including my own.

And just for the heck of it- 5'1''?

  2. hmm. . . I think you are 5' 3 1/2" and I will pray for Japan for sure :) I have some great people in mind for these tickets if I win, but mostly I want to say that I think your concert is going to be great ;D

  3. I am not sure if the people I have in mind would be able to attend, but I sent an email to ask and will enter just in case.

I think you are 4'9". I know I have had this converation with you, but I am pretty sure that was over ten years ago. LOL

And a prayer for Japan has been said.

    Love you, Molly.

  4. I am one who has never commented. But I have wanted to for awhile. Lucy and your story have truly changed my life. I know I am a better mother because of you. I am so excited to come to the concert! I know of a few people who I would love to give these tickets to.

My guess is you're 5 feet exactly. And since I'm being brave and commenting....I absolutely loved that picture of Peter sitting at the counter! Can he get any cuter??

  5. Meredith and Jason--Can't wait to meet you. Vic and I are good friends with another couple named Jason and Meredith. Small world. You are SO CLOSE on my height.

Palmers--The tickets are all yours! Send me an email (mollymjackson@gmail.com) letting me know the name of your guests and I'll put them down.

Halfords--way to be brave. You never should be afraid to comment. (Though, I know how it is to not FEEL like commenting). He does have the cutest bum.

I've had a few blog readers be surprised when they meet me in real life at how small I am. How I could ever look not short is beyond me...but pictures can be deceiving. I'm 5 1 1/2. I think.

M-you too! Four foot nine?? COME ON!
