Below is the short documentary BYUtv did on our little family. They did a beautiful job. I hope Lucy is pleased with us.
I received the link to this video AS I was finishing up a post on A GOOD GRIEF. Coincidence? I hope you go read it.

ReplyDeleteYou and your family are incredible people. Thank you for sharing your experience.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. What a sacred and loving piece. Something to cherish forever.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice seeing you today, even if I was trying to pretend not to see you CAUSE I LOOKED AND FELT LIKE POO. (How does poo feel, really? And why oh why do I run into 19 people that I know when I look like I got straight out of bed?)
Wish we could have chatted longer, but I know you had your hands full....
Thanks for sharing the documentary. It made my night.

ReplyDeleteyou guys are possibly the cutest family on earth.

Beautiful. You are amazing, and I think you are absolutely fabulous for everything you have done with A Good Grief!!
ReplyDeleteI'm crying.
ReplyDeleteLove you guys.
The 1st time I watched it, I made it through maybe 2 minutes and I was crying too hard. On my 2nd try, josh couldn't handle it. During his next flight I will watch it by myself start to finish, come what may! You have done such amazing things. I am privileged to know you.
ReplyDeleteIncredible. They did a beautiful job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, touching... I'm sitting here crying.Vic, I loved hearing from you... I loved hearing your side of things. Molly, you are amazing, beautfiful, and an inspiration. I love you guys.
ReplyDeleteTears running down my cheeks. You and Vic and Peter are such beautiful people. You have this extraordinary light in your faces; a radiance. As though Lucy is shining through you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making and sharing this. No doubt it will change lives.
BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts? "I belong to Lucy Jackson." I loved that detail.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful piece. We have been looking forward to seeing it and I cried all the way through. Our girls talk about Lucy often, she just comes up here and there in our every day conversation. Her legacy lives on. It's beautiful to see how you have been able to love and support others through their times of grief as well. We love you and think of you often!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe!
ReplyDeleteLucy is smiling!
Such a tragedy turned into good memories, love and hope by reaching out to others. Amazing!
Love you Jackson Family.
ToOdLeS.
Dangit! Completely ruined my mascara job today.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet.
LOVE the part where he kisses her picture on her headstone.
Love you.
Miss you.
Thank you for sharing! I cried! You're such an amazing and strong person! I really appreciate all you do!
ReplyDeleteI had seen your story before but ran into it again by way of a friends blog today with the video link, I had forgotten about your journey..Probably won't again because as I looked at Lucy's picture I noticed her death date, both My little sister and my Dad passed away on that same date.. Maybe all very special people leave on the same day. I'd like to think so..<3
ReplyDeleteI am a heap of tears. What a beautiful tribute to your daughter. You have such a beautiful family and the love that radiates from you and your husband can be felt through a computer screen and touch strangers across the world. I can saftely say you Lucy is extremley proud.
ReplyDeleteJamee
Thank you so much for sharing! You are amazing and so strong! I am bawling right now. I don't have the words to tell you how I hurt for you, cuz I haven't been what you have been through. But I thank you for sharing it with us! My prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through the Sullenger's. I am bawling like a baby right now, thank you for turning your grief into a "good" thing and helping other people. What a true christ-like example.
ReplyDeleteYou all look so beautiful. They did a good job of capturing the good in the Jacksons. I've thought a lot about you as I've worked on costumes for Peter Pan and Wendy. I've thought a lot about Lucy too. Would she enjoy it? Would it captivate her? Probably not like her mother did!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I'm so proud of you guys and think of you daily. I love you tons!
ReplyDeleteHey Molly, I don't know if you even remember me, but it's Brett Armstrong, I was John when you were Peter. I don't think we've talked since the production, but my dad sent me the link to your blog today. You have an absolutely beautiful family, especially Peter, and I and profoundly sorry for the tragedy you have all endured. I think it is astounding the way you have channeled all your grief for such good, with A Good Grief and all the donations you've received. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and give my condolences, however late they may be.
ReplyDeleteWith love,
Brett Armstrong
They did a beautiful job! I bawled my eyes out on it though. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Beautiful... You, Vic, Peter and Lucy. God bless your little family!
ReplyDeleteMolly,
ReplyDeleteI started watching this and my boys in the tub wanted to watch too. Josh said that little boy looks like Lucy....
Lucy would be so proud. It was beautiful. Now I am in tears thinking of Lucy and my Cameron. I am sure they are buddies with all their cute spunk!
Oh, Vic and Molly. Such a beautiful video. I cried, then watched it with Ryan and cried again.
ReplyDeleteYou have touched so many lives in a way that only the two of you could.
wonderful video.. I've never met you, but feel like I know you just from that video.
ReplyDeleteI added the link to my blog and will add your button to mine as well.
What an amazing family you are.. Thanks for serving while you grieve.
I look forward to our new friendsip!
You don't know me, but I am pretty sure that I love you and your family. Hope that is not too weird. :) You DO know my husband, though - Ben Tullis and one my best friends - Britany Galovich. It doesn't matter how many times I read or hear about your story of losing your beautiful daughter, I cry. I loved the documentary! You are a beautiful person - inside and out and I can't imagine Lucy being anything less than pleased. Thank you for strengthening my testimony and my resolve to be the best mother I can, each and every day!
ReplyDeleteYou are seriously amazing! My cousin is one of your recipients and I am so touched by the life you have chosen to give to others. So sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making my life and my cousin and her family's life better.
Thanks!
Hi.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much here that I resonante with. I've watched this several times since you commented on my blog, and I keep remembering what you said about the miracle of being able to find joy again.
As you may have felt from reading my post, I am learning to recognize and validate the suffering in my own life, and the lives of others.
But this video taught me that I can also see miracles through my process. That the miracle of feeling joy again is real and possible.
Can we be friends? I'd like to put up a link to your good grief blog, I think you are doing such a wonderful thing.
Also, we are hair twins. That means something, right?
Totally cried through that whole video. How beautifully it was done, and thank you for sharing such a personal story to help others!
ReplyDeleteYou really are an amazing and beautiful family..

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I just have to say that I have spent hours today reading and getting to "know" you. There really aren't any words to say. There's nothing that seems to even come close to being adequate. But let me just say that I want to be like you. I'm sure you have heard it thousands of times but that doesn't change what a beautiful person you are. I'm in disbelief by your strength. She was a beautiful perfect little girl. Please know that another life has been touched by her.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't know you, I love you.
I'm praying for you.
Thank you and thanks to BYU to do this video!! It was soo nice to see you "in person"! Like always I was crying with you! Thank you for your example one more time! You touch alot of lives with your strength and I admire you soo much for it!
