To Do List...

By Molly Bice-Jackson - 9:10 PM

We have been so busy these days. I keep making to-do lists multiple times a day. My mind just works that way. Write it down, cross it off. So in the spirit of list making, I'm throwing out random things just to get them off my chest.

-We've had some great times with friends and family as of late
-Peter is almost one and I am beside myself. I can hardly stand his cuteness. It makes me crazy. I just want to eat him!
-I just finished reading "The Help" and very much enjoyed it. Very thought-provoking. Just fantastic. I am now lost without a book to read
-I am ready for Spring. Come on Park City, you are so close! I know you can do it.
-You didn't know Peter's room had special wallpaper too?
-Off to Boston and NYC soon! Good times ahead.
-We have reached our final Fun Challenge days. Your final challenge, should you choose to accept: Go to http://www.wrestlingname.com/ and find out your pro-wrestling name. Actually, find out the names of everyone in your family and then have a wrestling match. You can only refer to each other by your pro wrestling name during the match. Good luck.

Peace Out,
Lightning Titan

Sam Buttermilk (Peter) is attacked by Vic "The Weasel" Ferrari (that name was born while Vic was in the MTC and he's sticking to it). Lightening Titan(Molly) swoops in and really shakes things up. The winner is determined by how many laughs they pull out of their opponent. It's in the bag for me for sure.

Actually, upon further investigation of the wrestling match footage, I think Vic "the Weasel" Ferrari is the clear winner.

  7. I finished "The Help" last week. I thought it was ok, but nothing compared to "The Known World" by Edward P. Jones. The book I would most recommend reading is "The Shack." It is amazing. It's messages of hope, forgiveness, and redemption superceed any docternal questions posed. The writing actually quite reminded me of your blog and is best surmised with the single word of "honesty." Contagious, gut renching honesty. There is really nothing more beautiful.

Hey vic- I've been thinking about you lately. I was polishing my little turkish charm you gave me along time ago. I still have the note you put in it that says 'I love you'. Sigh! good times!

  9. Okay, this is hilarious! I love the video. Peter laughing uncontrollably and then one little cough and he's done. You guys are such cute parents and expert shimmy-ers. I can't wait to find out what my pro wrestling name is, but I'm thinking it will be something along the lines of Rochaire "The Chair." What do you think???

  12. Your little man is adorable. I'd take a piece of him too. If you haven't read these two books, you should: Peace Like a River, a national bestseller by Leif Enger and Gilead by Marilynne Robinson. It won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, as well as the National Book Critics Circle Award. Enjoy!!
