Way Back When

By Molly Bice-Jackson - 3:45 PM

Way back when Pedro was a newborn, my friend Alison snapped some wonderful shots of the little Mister. I share them with you now for your viewing pleasure. He is mightily delicious. It's like my friend Lea said the other night about her babe--"I get so scared because sometimes I think I'm really going to eat him...especially his feet-- they're my favorite!"
Tonight's special: Peter a la mode.
Perfect refreshment after my 7 mile run. Wish me luck!(Oy vey!)

  19. I totally understand about delicious babies. I always find myself saying, "Mmmmmm," when I hug Simon - like he tastes good to me. I had a friend who actually gave her son HICKIES! That's going a bit too far for me, but now that I have such an edible baby, I judge her a little less harshly. Cute, cute pictures!

  20. PROPS for running 7 miles, lady! That is no easy feat. So proud of you. And my favorite place to snack on a babe is the little folds of their neck. Oh yum.

  23. I saw you at church on Sunday and wanted to say hi, but considering we don't actually know each other I thought it might have been a little awkward. :) Thinking of you though and your sweet Peter.

  24. I check in on you and your family every so often and wanted to tell you congratulations on your new addition. Babies are just so yummy. I am particularly fond of my 6 month olds little thighs. Oh they are so juicy!
One more thought. You write so wonderfully and I almost always find myself in tears along the way. Since I am generally not a "crier" I figure you must speak a lot of truth and it touches my heart in the most profound way. So thank you for reminding me to cherish everyday and love my kids a little more. Thank you for reminding me to not take them for granted. Thank you for your honesty and for helping me to remember what matters most. I often forget and lose sight. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
