A Bittersweet Farewell

By Vic - 11:56 AM

We sold our condo in one day! It is a very long story, but in summary, we listed our condo with a real estate agent friend of ours, and we had a full price offer in one day! We now have about 28 days to figure out where we will be living next. The timing is a bit funny, as I will be beginning Peter Pan rehearsals next month, but hey...now it will be my turn to commute. So it is with greatest thanks (can you say equity?) and truest affection, that I dedicate this blog post to my dear friend--PineCreek Condo #G-2. Our first home. The place we brought our daughter home from the hospital, the home where many an argument has occurred, many a good meal, many a late night, many a loud laugh, and many good tears. We will forever remember the moose, the bear, the loud birds and chipmunks, the stinky skunks, and even the pot gut chewing through our screen door and Vic trying to kill you with his bow staff. (I had NO idea my husband owned a bow staff until this happened!! I just have no words for this! I am laughing about it as I write...right now). Thank you, dear condo, for the heavenly cool summers, the relatively cheap utilities, the amazing mountain views. The winters with you were rough, but we stuck with you...and you have granted us the greatest financial blessing of our lifetime! (thus far) Farewell, and God bless.

  5. I wish we were on your end of the dice. We are trying to buy in Utah right now, and it stinks going the other way! But I'm happy you made some $$$. Your condo looks beautiful! I'm so jealous of the mountains. (Here we just have hills and over-grown sagebrush.)

  7. Molly (and Vic),
I am jealous that you have made a cha ching! on your house AND that you're on vacation in CA. We've never made money on houses. Somehow we always buy high and sell even or low. Congrats! Let us know when you find a house!

  10. Molls-
Hey ya friend. Yes, after months I just checked my blog and noticed you had done the same. Can we say "Hot mama!!" You look fantastic. I love your hair. It's so sophisticated, stylish, and fun. Love it! I'd be sad selling that cute condo too. Great things will be right around the corner for you. I wish so bad that I could see you as Peter Pan. You are so talented and I'm so glad you are sharing them. I feel so un-talented, it's nice to know that some people still have it in them. I actually just found a ballet schedule for an adult class and thought I might try it out. Ballet is not my favorite, but dancing in anyway would be fun. Your daughter is gorgeous! Vic is hot and life looks good for you. I'm so proud of Taylor. How is he doing? He sure found a darling looking girl. I hope they have a great life together. Check out my blog for new updates. I'm going to try to bring things up to date this week. So good to be re-connected!!
